Kirk Phelps, Associate
Kirk comes to Foundation Capital with a strong sense for what world class product development, engineering, and operations are all about. At Apple he managed product development for the iPhone Multitouch Interface, taking a transformational R&D technology from prototype to mass production and building new supply chains and manufacturing processes along the way. He also managed development of the 3rd Gen iPod Nano and various core technologies.
At Stanford, Kirk was a Teaching Assistant for me218 (Smart Product Design), and is on leave from the Masters Program in Computer Science, where he focused on Embedded Systems Design.
