Foundation Capital's thriving Cleantech practice began in 2003. Our overall aim in this arena is to identify, invest in, and actively manage those companies with a strategy for realizing a future characterized by affordable, renewable, and abundant resources. Since beginning our practice, we have built a comprehensive portfolio of investments focused on techonology enabled energy efficiency and demand-side management—including smart-grid technologies—as well as green building materials and industrial processes, food quality, and clean water.
